Strategic Alliance Forges New Path in Paraguay’s Renewable Energy Sector

This momentous alliance between IGEF and APES marks a significant stride towards a more sustainable future for Paraguay, underlining the shared commitment of both entities to drive positive change in the realm of renewable energy.

In a groundbreaking move set to reshape Paraguay’s energy landscape, the International Gas & Energy Forum (IGEF) and the Paraguayan Association of Solar Energy (APES) have joined forces in a strategic partnership aimed at propelling photovoltaic solar energy initiatives to the forefront of the nation’s agenda.

Recognizing the imperative need for collaborative efforts to drive forward sustainable energy solutions, IGEF and APES have pledged to pool their expertise and resources towards common objectives, heralding a new era of cooperation in the field.

Under the terms of this innovative collaboration, APES secures prime positioning at upcoming industry events centered on photovoltaic solar energy across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. This strategic advantage promises heightened visibility and networking opportunities for APES members, nurturing their growth and influence within the sector.

The official announcement of the alliance between IGEF and APES will take place during the esteemed 16th International Gas and Energy Forum, slated to convene in Asunción from April 3 to 5, 2024. This public declaration solidifies the bond between the two entities, attracting attention on both national and international fronts to the burgeoning solar energy initiatives in Paraguay.

Moreover, the collaborative venture is poised to foster innovative studies and projects in the realm of photovoltaic solar energy. With a shared vision for progress, both parties will actively seek out investment opportunities and facilitate the involvement of global entities keen on backing solar energy ventures in Paraguay.

IGEF pledges technical assistance and guidance to APES in its pursuit of photovoltaic solar energy initiatives. Furthermore, IGEF will facilitate APES’ participation in key international forums and actively promote cross-collaboration between its own members and those of APES.

APES commits to championing IGEF-organized events and proactively participating in them. Additionally, APES will collaborate closely with IGEF to identify and capitalize on developmental opportunities within Paraguay’s photovoltaic solar energy sector, as well as championing joint projects on a national and global scale.

Effective immediately upon signing, the agreement is set to run for a period of 1 year, with provisions for extension subject to mutual agreement.
